Right?! I mean, we are the same age, so...yeah. And I guess middle school was actually 1994-5 through 96-97. Anyway. Looking back on the 90's, it's kind of precious how angsty everyone was. It's like, whoa, just you wait. And the music of the 2000's was/is either way angry or way escapist. But I feel very comforted by the nostalgic angst of the previous generation :)
