I would really like to stop feeling sick now.
I don't feel terrible, but the consistent non-feeling-goodness is really gnawing at my will to exist right now.
All week long, I was so beautifully productive, even with this cold, and now that I have a weekend to get things done, I'm all fuck this, no, I need another nap. Sigh.
I did have a lovely evening yesterday, though. It was Brian's birthday, and he was hosting game night, but it was a much bigger group than usual. I knew almost everyone there, but many had been just people I had heard of rather than people I actually knew, and it was lovely to spend time with them all. It's so funny how my Portland social circle is all knotted up, especially since I came to many of these friends by non-local means. Anyway it was nice to spend time with so many good people, and get to know many of them better. Also, Mary let me put my hands on her belly and feel the baby move -- it was actually active enough that I could SEE it moving for a little bit, too. Baby!!!
Brian and I made tentative plans for the day, but both of us were sort of iffy on the commitment by the end of the night, so I'd say there's probably only about a 20% chance we'll follow through on that today. Could be fun, though.
I'd like to go to the gym, get some real estate work done, maybe fold some laundry...but honestly I'll be impressed with myself if I even get dressed today. I'm just feeling so lazy.
