jianantonicI have a freak for a toaster oven. The little "on" light will come on and the timer will tick and wind down even if it's not plugged in. So, much to my chagrin, I went to get my fake chicken out just now and it was still cold. It can tick and light up and count time, but it can't cook without being plugged in? Bastard toaster. But I remedied the problem and have the fake chicken actually cooking right now. It's okay, though. I'm not really that hungry anyway. I just figure I should eat before work because it's free pizza night and I'll have to wait until everyone else is ready before I get dinner.
I went to the gym today at Woodstone. There's no basketball, but the weight room is much nicer than LeClub, so I think I'm going to keep going there. I ran on the elliptical for 20 minutes and did a seated bike for 10. I could've stayed longer but I started to smell really bad and I didn't want to subject anyone else to my funk. I stopped by the desk and talked to Gina before I left. That reminds me, I have to email Patti. Done.
Work tonight is going to be interesting. Burke and Cave will both be there tonight. I'm kind of saddistically excited about that. Their banter is really entertaining. I've also turned into more of a work gossip than I like. The sad thing is, there's not much going on there anyway, so it's not like there's anything good to talk about...and yet...yap yap yap. There is a lot of drama there;)
Anyway, I'm out of here. The fake chicken is really ready this time and the last two episodes of season 9 are waiting.
