I noticed this while driving to, from, and around Charlottesville this weekend. The vast majority of cars with those "God Bless America" stickers are foreign. Now that's a little ironic and hypocritical, huh? I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a foreign car, but it certainly doesn't do America any good for you to drive one. That said, I can't wait to throw out my Chevy for an Audi TT. But at least I will never have any "God Bless America" or "United We Stand" stickers.

This weekend was good, not long enough, though. Jer performed a wedding in Keswick, so I went to the reception after work and we stayed the night with my folks. I had to give back the Lincoln, and, surprise, surprise, my Corsica's still not fixed. The dealership has tentatively agreed to provide a rental for me for the next few weeks, which I suppose I will enjoy...but it's such a hassle.

Last night Jer and I went to Walmart and I bought some gel insoles. So, yeah, today I'm "gellin'," but it's not quite all it's cracked up to be. First of all, I had to almost completely delace my sneakers just to get my feet in them without bunching up the insoles. That was a pain. And the arches on these things stick up really high, and they hurt more than they help. Basically they just crowd my shoes. I think I'll take them out before too much longer.

What else? I'm starting to think (already) about next year's living arrangements. I *love* living with Zsa-Zsa, but I don't think he'd be crazy about living with Jeremy next year, so I doubt we'll be roommates again, though hopefully we'll be in the same apartment complex, if I do decide to stay in MVH. I want to keep my current apartment, because it's cheap and I love it, but I don't know if my other roommates are wanting to stay. I wouldn't mind living with them again but I don't think they want to live with a couple, either. Jer and I are thinking we either need to find another couple to live with or just get a two bedroom place. We haven't decided. Ah well.

Anyhow I've got class in just a bit, so I'm off. Peace.

I love making other people feel happy. Yesterday I IMed this guy I hadn't seen or talked to in a really long time and I gave him a compliment, having to do with what a cool person I thought he was, and it wasn't a big deal and I meant every bit of it, but he turned around and said all kinds of nice things back to me and I love how compliments are chain reactions. Not that I give compliments to get them, because I enjoy telling people nice things anyway. But it's been a while since I've talked to some of you on my friends list and I have nice things to say about you, too, so I'll just let them be public:
Ben Chambers - you are far and away the most fun person ever. I've never been uncomfortable around you and I enjoy how you never complain about anything.
Camm - you have the most interesting stories! I'm never bored when I'm talking to you, and I'm so sad that you're not my roommate this year like you were supposed to be! But I'm glad you're happy at UVA and hopefully I'll see lots more of you in the future to make up for it:)
Zsa-Zsa - you helped me keep my sanity with the Clark situation. You went out of your way and put yourself in a highly uncomfortable situation on my behalf when you barely knew me, and I don't know many people who would offer to help me like you did. Also I love living with you and hope I am present next time you throw a party!
Alice - I don't know you so well but you strike me as highly intelligent, adorable, and fun. We've got to hang out soon and play some Scrabble.
Alex - Don't know you so well either, but you were always one of the few people at Marta's parties that I did want to talk to. I find you interesting and entertaining. Marta, if you read this, no offense, but I'm just a lot older than most everyone at those parties.
Emily Slye - You have the best middle name ever. You have the best hair ever. You give the best presents ever. You are a member of the best acapella group ever. You are the best sister ever, which is saying a lot considering you are technically an only child. I positively love you!
Dave - what I told you yesterday is still very true today, but it's a secret compliment;)
Jcow - you let me call you by bovine nicknames and fart as much as I want/can't help it. I could not ask for a more loving boyfriend:)

I don't know who else might be reading this, but to whomever else that may be, I think you are cool, too, because you read all the silly things I post up here and don't send me hate mail. I hope I'm not giving anyone ideas. Please don't send me hate mail:) It pleases me that people read this, even though I'm not sure anyone actually does besides those listed above...so anyhow that's it for today. Love you all, really.

Peace.
