Feb. 27th, 2004 09:32 amI have a test today and two papers to write all before I go to work at 2pm, so I really should be doing anything but writing in my LJ, but dammit, I won't have internet service at home for another 6 days and I just have to use it while I can! Despite my difficulty concentrating on everything, I've been doing surprisingly well so far this semester. I've had three tests, with 98s on two of them and a middle A on the other. I've yet to get lower than a 95 on a quiz or lab, and I'm keeping up quite well. Yet I'm still fighting with myself over the work I was supposed to turn in for Dr. Fogarty last YEAR. Oh well, it is a long story, perfectly well suited for a journal, but I don't feel like talking about it because it makes me want to run and hide.
Jeremy stayed home sick yesterday and cleaned the house. I love him. It looks so good. We have several leaks that need fixing, which is a pain, and I'm not looking forward to this month's water or electric bill, but it should be all uphill from there. Sigh.
My niece is due in three weeksish. Rah! That is the most exciting thing in the world. I wonder what kind of name she'll have. I wonder if she'll look like me at all. Oh I love her so much already and I don't know anything about her!
Last night was fun. 7 of my PDP kids and Steve (Prof Watson) came over for a housewarming thing put together by Marci (you rock, Marci!). We played Taboo and had some interesting moments...
"Like the phrase playing with your..."
"Self!"
"Something a husband and wife do in bed"
"Spoon!"
Hehe. What a great game.
Anyhow, I'm off...I will try to do some work, although no promises...peace.
