Mar. 21st, 2004 04:21 pmUmm...I just looked out my window, and it was like a fucking blizzard...so I stared with disbelief for a few minutes and after about five minutes, the sun was out and there was no more snow. But that was really weird!
Anyhow the big news is that my niece was finally born last night! She entered the world via c-section, since Emily was in labor for two days and never did really make any progress. So my big brother has a baby girl, a healthy 9lb 1oz girl with black curly hair at that:) I'm so excited:) I get to go up with Adrian next weekend to meet her. Rah! It's seriously the best thing ever. You guys should all try getting nieces. I haven't even met mine yet and I can say that it totally rules.
Jer and I went out this morning for a celebratory brunch at Golden Corral. I must say, yum. That was six hours ago and I still don't feel much like eating. That place will really fill you up. Afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble to spend our gift certificates. I bought mostly wedding stuff and a few puzzle games. We also bought some treats for Buster at Petco and then headed to the mall with the intention of purchasing one new spring outfit for work. Well, I bought more than one. I love JCPenny. In high school, I never would have shopped there, but now it's like the only place I'll buy clothes. I must be becoming a woman...or something. Speaking of that, I have to have my annual gyno visit next week, and I have a new doctor for the first time since I was 14. It's not the kind of thing I get nervous about, but now my gynecologist is a man. We'll see how that goes, but I'll spare the details. Peace, y'all.
