May. 27th, 2005 05:50 pmI'm still really busy, so I can't really give a good update, but I am having a great time. Everyone's treating us really well and the games are running smoothly so far. I got an idea for more parts to my book about bridge tournaments. Don't ask...one day I'll do this thing:)
Funny story:
Last night, I was walking into the game room at the end of a session, and I heard a woman ask a man if he wanted her to take Shaquita (totally guessing on the spelling here) home. Immediately upon hearing the name "Shaquita," there's a mental image. There's no denying it - an assumption is made. Boy was I blown away when the woman turned to a little old white lady with blue hair and said, "Come on, Shaquita, I'm taking you home tonight." Hehe.
I need a nap now.
