Jul. 29th, 2006 05:26 pmIf I pull my hair straight, it's down to my belly button. However, I think the longer it gets, the curlier it gets, and it never *looks* any longer. This is frustrating. Sigh.
I've been pretty lazy today. Jer slept in and we didn't go to Harrisonburg, because we didn't know what was going on with funeral plans for my friend, and my brother coming back to town and such. The funeral is going to be Monday morning, but Lucy & co are coming to town tonight or tomorrow morning. The bright side of death is that families get together. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
I've spent most of the day reading Atlas Shrugged, which I'm really enjoying, but it's a really slow read. I'm only 200 pages in, out of 1100. It's good, though. I'm hoping to finish it by the time Ahren comes back through town, since he's the one making me read it, but I think he'd coming by in a couple weeks, and I don't know if I can manage it by then. We'll see. Also on the agenda for when Ahren comes back through town: kicking his ass in basketball. On the agenda for the next two weeks: practice basketball:)
Well, back to my book.
Peace.
