Jul. 2nd, 2012 01:26 pmWell, if that perfect house going on the market was some sort of sign, we just got another one -- after less than 24 hours on the market, it's already under contract. Fuck.
Just as well, though. It was more than we wanted to spend...but...grumble. I'm still disappointed.
Z and I went for a nice bike ride this morning, out to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch and back. We stopped by the Hyundai dealership on the way back to pick up our car, which they told us at 9am would be ready "in a couple hours." Apparently a couple=5, because we have to go back for it at 2. Then we're heading out to Hillsboro to give Shanon a nap, since her jetlagged baby kept her up all night.
It's July 2 and I am wearing long sleeves and long pants today, even to ride my bike. It's nice not being stuck in the oppressive heat the rest of the country seems to be dealing with, but I was thinking maybe it would be nice to get a taste of summer this year. It's basically been in the 60's since February. This isn't normal for here.
