Shit's getting real
Sep. 14th, 2012 01:45 pmStill no official word from the bank, but the selling agent is confident that we will be able to close by the end of the month. That would be spectacular. Our realtor can get boxes for free, so she offered to bring some to us once we have a closing date. She asked how many we'd want, and while I was thinking "10? 15?" in my head, she spoke up and said "Why don't I start you with 40 and if you need more, I'll get them for you." Holy shit. 40 boxes. As a starting point. Moving sucks.
But I'm excited to do it!
Tony arrives for his visit tomorrow morning, and I'm also excited about that :) We're gonna hike some hills, y'all. And play some music, I hope. I think he's bringing his guitar, and I should have my bass clarinet by then, too. The USPS tracking site is annoying, though. When I plug in my tracking number, it says the clarinet is still in the sorting facility in Charlottesville. It was mailed over a week ago. It also says that today is the expected delivery date. So...either they're teleporting it from Charlottesville today (I doubt Mom would've paid for such services), or one of the two statements on the tracking page is untrue. I hope there's a bass clarinet waiting for me when I get home.
