Sep. 23rd, 2005 09:10 amKerry Frey is my hero! Kerry is a fellow Pirate's Patcher (our Falcon Ridge campsite) who shared my gimpy foot woes this past festival. Remember how I gushed about the late-night jam session with Mike Clem of EFO on the Saturday night of the fest? Kerry recorded it and made a CD! And he sent it to me! I brought it into work this morning and listened to the first half of it. We sounded terrible! Hehe. We've got a great 17-part harmony going on, but we were all so excited, we were just belting out lyrics at the top of our lungs, drunk as can be...yeah, fine family fun. So it doesn't sound great, but it brings back great memories. Big thank you to Kerry! This is two years in a row he's come through with surprise souvenirs...last year he videotaped Girlyman's set for us, along with all the EFO appearances. We love Kerry.
I'm also excited for my weekend to get going. Play tonight - who the eff is coming, anyway? I have several maybes and no definites. C'mon, people. You know I'm all anal about planning shit. (hehe, pun not originally intended) Then tomorrow is the Vegetarian Festival - Camm, I'm definitely going. Do you have my cell #, cause I don't have yours...but we should meet there. Then Donna and Tracy that night, yay:)
Work today promises to be slow and boring, so it will probably be filled with lots of LJing. Oh, and I can read along with Carolyn's live chat. Rock. Emily got me hooked on Carolyn Hax. I don't always agree with her, but she's fun to read. And I usually agree with her.
Peace.
