jianantonicIn the spirit of trying new things, I did all new equipment at the gym today. I have never been this sweaty in my life. I wasn't even planning on working out today, but DI was canceled, so I had time...I got on a different piece of cardio equipment, thinking it would be more laid back than the ones I'm used to...not at all. In my 30 minutes, I burned almost 500 calories, compared to about 375 in 30 minutes on the treadmill. You don't wanna smell me.
Two amusing/annoying things awaited me when I came home today. On the front porch, in clear view of the whole neighborhood, sat our upstairs toilet. Apparently, my folks got a new one. I laughed pretty hard when I came home to that. Nothing says seasons greetings quite like an old blue commode on the front stoop. But what gets me about this is that my mom freaked out at me over an unmade bed, when all you have to do to hide the disgrace that is my bedroom is shut the door, and yet she puts a toilet on the front porch all day. I'll never understand.
The other thing was a bill. Outstanding balance: $14. Minimum payment due: $136. WTF, mate? I'm going to call them tomorrow.

jjbrr, who is hopefully going to help keep me ahead in my bet. Ahren gained .75 on me in Hawaii...a lot less than it could've been, given I didn't play much while he was there.
