Arizona wins 10
Jun. 28th, 2003 11:23 pmBrandon Webb, rookie pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks, just pitched a complete game shutout in only 102 pitches. That's fucking amazing for anyone, but for a rookie it's especially noteworthy (even if it was against the Tigers). I'm proud to say I saw his MLB debut start, in New York, on my birthday, where he recorded a solid victory over the Mets. Yay:) Baseball makes me happy. This is also a franchise record 10 straight wins for the Dbacks. I'm interested to see what happens when all their injured all stars come off the DL and they have to decide what to do with all of the rookies that have been playing so well. Anyway no one really cares about this but me so I'll leave it at that. Go big unit. Peace.
