jianantonicI had a dream that I woke up and looked at the time and had way overslept. When that panic snapped me out of my sleep, it was really only 7am. Never did get back to sleep, though.
I'm leaving today for Florida. I have a really crappy flight itinerary -- 5:30 PDX to LAX, 11pm LAX to CIN, 9am CIN to FTL. I almost never sleep on redeyes, but here's hoping I can on this one. I totally failed to do all the pre-registration stuff for my cruise, so I called the organizer this morning and she was cool and helpful, but seemed really panicked at the notion of me having to wear a hand-written nametag (since I lost the one that was mailed to me). The horrors!
My friend Lorie and I were totally going to Occupy Portland (you know, for lunch), but the cops ran the protesters out of their encampments yesterday. So today, the occupiers are just attending some city council meetings and whatnot, so I don't think there's going to be anything for us to see or do if we go down there. I've suggested occupying an Indian buffet instead, but we'll see.
I still haven't done any packing, or any getting out of bed for that matter. I need to go for a run this morning, and pack my stuff for both cruise to Mexico weather and week in Virginia for Thanksgiving weather. Bleh.
Also, I have postcards from Guam SOMEWHERE. I wrote them and addressed them but didn't have enough stamps, so if you asked for one, I totally wrote it...but I haven't seen them since I got back. I'll try to get those mailed this week, along with bonus Postcards from Mexico. "You leave us cryin' over postcards from Mexico, baby, you're never far enough away..." Hehe.
Anyway I guess I should get up and get on with the things that need doin'.
