I'm back to writing things that get published in places other than LJ and TFLN.  I wrote an article today about what to expect from the airline industry in 2012.  (Will link when it's published...probably Tuesday.)  I was hurting for the right word to use, so I posed this question to the whole office:  "What's a good, appropriate synonym for 'shitstorm?'"  Back when I was a pro blogger, "shitstorm" was perfectly acceptable.  But not so much when you're writing the news.  And that's the difference between blogging and reporting.
