Having Kelly here has been great for my productivity!  I got a lot of shit done around the house in preparation for her arrival, and then last night we cooked -- okay, she cooked, I made a salad, but it was still a homemade meal instead of a frozen something or a restaurant.  Then this morning we went for a run together through the park near my new digs.  Plus, awesome friends moving to Portland is always a big giant yay.  

Z and I will leave soon for Olympia, where I'm playing a couple of days with Tree before coming home to work my regular schedule at the office.  Then I'll go back for the weekend, and I'm playing with Cristal and possibly a little more with Tree, but I'm not certain where we landed on the plans for Sunday.  Whatever, it'll be a great time.  The only problem is that I've barely slept all weekend.  I tried to nap yesterday, but failed, and then had to pick Z up at the airport at midnight and didn't get to sleep until 2ish, and the construction dudes got here at 7...so, yeah, yawn.  I'm feeling generally good, though, just quite sleepy.  Maybe I can snooze a little on the way to Oly.

I;ll be in Seattle next week and may fly down to Portland to work after that. I can't wait. Everytime I go there my skin gets so soft it isn't even funny. I should pack my warm weather gear though, eh?

The weather in Portland is pretty mild right now. 60's and drizzly. Will probably be about like that for most of the fall. I'd love to see you if you come here, though! I just posted about coming to Reno at the very end of the year, but I'd bet that's a pretty busy time for you. Where would you work in Portland?
