I'm surprised I'm still up. It's been a long day, but in a good way. I went up to the wine tasting today with Jer, Mom, Blake, and Holden. It was the first time I saw Emily and Jamie from ADF since quitting. They were both really glad to see me, and I them. We talked for a long time about changes. Turns out, Janet has turned on them now that I'm gone, and everyone pretty much hates her now. That's very comforting, in a sick, sad way. But that's me...sick, sad:) Not really - I'm just glad others are starting to see it now so it doesn't look like it was just me. Of course it wasn't just me. Christina felt that way before I did. Sigh. I just wish there was a way to get over hating them. I never have to see them again, so it doesn't matter a whole heck of a lot...but I continue to be bothered by the situation. I crave revenge. If I really wanted it, that would be really easy...but I'm just too nice to use the fuel I have. The problem is, every time I start to think about them, I get really aggravated, and I'd rather just not talk about it than deal with it. I need to get over that, because if I don't hurry up and get closure on this it'll bug me forever. Bah. Maybe the election will help.

I got the new EFO CD today. It's autographed, since I did the preorder. How cool am I? :) The CD is great. I'm still a little worried it'll be their last - but if it is, it's a great one. This is technically their first new album since I've been a fan. Quick was my first album of theirs, and that was their last studio album before this one. Still, with all the live recordings I have and the EFO friends I've made, I feel like I've been there from the start. Aww...

I went on a little tirade after class today. We talked about the sacraments in my Reformation Theology class. During the Reformation, there was a large debate over what makes a sacrament. Martin Luther and other reformers said there were only two legitimate ones - baptism and eucharist. Catholics believe in 7 - those two plus confirmation, pennance, marriage, holy orders, and extreme unction. Wars were fought over this difference of opinion. People literally died because they refused to accept the 5 others as sacraments. That made me think of the defense of marriage act and Bush's talk of "protecting the sacrament of marriage." Isn't he Baptist? Whatever he is, he's not Catholic. That made me laugh. And don't even get me started on the Constitutional separation of church and state....I hate George Bush. Both of them. Bring on John Kerry. Please. I'm getting so excited/anxious about the election. I truly believe John Kerry will win, but I also truly believe that Al Gore won in 2000, so....I'm just really looking forward to knowing the result - and hopefully that result is the guy I want. :)

I need to go to bed, but first I'm going to offer to let Jeremy give me a massage...mmm...

OOOH but before I go - I really want a good (animated if possible) John Kerry LJ icon. Anyone?

Peace.
