Nov. 2nd, 2004 10:21 amI just got back from voting in Charlottesville. I also took Adam breakfast while he was volunteering at Hollymead, which I think is the largest precinct in the area. By the end of his shift at 10am, already 1/3 of registered voters had come out to vote. High turnout bodes very well for Kerry. I can't wait now for the results...but I'm trying not to think about it too much because I will make myself sick. But, rah!
We get our philosophy of science tests back today. I felt much better about this one than the first one, so I'm not too worried about getting it back.
I could kill my husband. I called him on my way to school and he answers with, "well, I'm $150 down for the day." WHAT?! Apparently, 72 in a 55 work zone is a huge fucking ticket. It's enough to get him bounced from my insurance, and I JUST added him. So that bitch had better go to court and fight it hard core, or I'm filing for a divorce. He's too expensive. Of course I'm kidding about the divorce bit but this is NOT GOOD TIMING. I'm already super stressed, and we're totally broke, and rawr. Not a happy camper. But optimistic enough about Kerry to let it go without too much screaming today.
Anyway, think happy thoughts, go Kerry, go Weed, and yay for camping on Friday - we'll know by the end of the night (hopefully) whether we'll have beer or wine... *wink*
Peace.
