jianantonicThis is going to piss some people off, so if you're not the type who likes to get pissed off, just don't read it. Anyway.
After talking to Jer this morning, I've decided I'm most angry with the Christians who voted for Bush. People who are just ignorant are not as bad as republican christians. I'm not saying that all good Christians are necessarilly Democrats, but I know Jesus wouldn't vote republican. Read the Bible, actually LISTEN to Jesus (and everyone else) and tell me he's not a pacifist. Tell me he wouldn't support welfare. When you call yourself a Christian you make a claim that you are aware of the scripture and follow it, but I don't believe that republican christians are following the scripture. It would be like calling myself a chemist without knowing a think about chemistry. That's what I think most Christians do. I mean, look at infant baptism. No baby is ready to be a Christian. They have no idea what it means. You can't BE something until you understand what it MEANS. And most people, baptized and confirmed alike, are missing the mark. Am I even making sense? I didn't so much sleep last night...
