Nov. 10th, 2004 08:42 pmI wish my hair would grow faster. The hair on my legs grows fast enough; why can't my head hair keep up? I want it to be down to mid-back by next FRFF. :) I'm going to be a good hippie.
I've decided that I'm not a determinist anymore. This is very comforting, because I never wanted to be one, I just couldn't help feeling that way due to the knowledge I had. But going over Bertrand Russell's philosophy, I decided that my determinism was based on a first-cause argument, and as difficult as it is to imagine infinite time, it's even more difficult for me to imagine something starting from nothing, which is what the first-cause argument assumes. So I believe in free will now and I'm happy about that.
I have a great present for Emily Gercke, but I can't talk about it because she reads this. But it's good. I'm proud of myself, and grateful for ebay.
I need to make a mix CD for the next time I work out. CNN at the gym just doesn't capture my attention enough to take my mind off the workout. You know what I really need to do? Prepare my presentation for class tomorrow. But I don't think I'm gonna do that until tomorrow morning, due to the lack of a library in my house. Four hours should be more than enough to plan a 15 minute presentation, but after what Steve said about my good work lately...eh...I feel bad about procrastinating. Maybe I'll go work on it...but probably not...
Peace.
