I gave blood today! It was my first successful donation:) I was so thrilled I almost cried - but I'm glad I didn't because I had too few fluids in me as it was and I kinda sorta passed out...but not until they had my pint so it's all good:) I was just stupid and didn't pump myself full of liquids like I should have. I'm mostly better now though cause that was eight hours ago...but I had to lie down for two hours - on the clock, however. That rocks. I was resting and eating chips and bean dip for $7/hour. And I saved lives and shit. It is seriously one of the most rewarding things I've ever done, and so simple. I can't wait to donate again...but next time I'll drink more fluids.
