Drive-by update on All The Things

jianantonicGetting back to real life is not easy. Vacation was lovely, but it also set me back in a lot of the ways I'm trying to move forward. So now that I'm back home, these things are weighing on me.
1. Real Estate -- need to really bust ass to catch up to where I want to be in my training. Working on it more, but still have been in a rut that I'd like to conquer.
2. Money -- I spent a lot of it. I didn't work for a few weeks. Operation austerity begins now. (After having gone to Adidas employee store last night, anyway.)
3. Fitness -- Oh lord I ate so much crap for two weeks straight. I knew I was digging myself a hole and I judged it worthwhile, but now I'm back to a more floppy version of my body than I like. So, working harder on the whole business of tightening up. Back to tracking with WW and eating normal portions of healthy foods. And not drinking five cocktails a day. Damn.
4. Relationships -- The cruise was definitely a net positive for my marriage, but we haven't seen our therapist since mid-July, and we definitely need a tuneup. I feel like things are going really well and progressing in a positive way, but there continue to be setbacks that make me question the future. I want to be with Z and he wants to be with me and we love each other, so the foundation is there. But so many questions remain as to our compatibility -- can we be happy together, and when will we know the answer to that? Can we be happy in the different lives we both want? Are we ready to test that a little more? Two steps forward, one step back. Net positive, but at times very frustrating.
5. Aquarium -- I'm getting slightly more proactive about actually getting this fucking thing set up, but I'm still clueless and scared. Right now my efforts involve asking people to help me get it started. I mean I have all the supplies...I think...I just don't know how to put it all together and get going. It should be simple, but I'm paralyzed.
6. My house -- My house is a goddamn mess. I should clean it or something.
7. Lists should have seven items. Or so an editor once told me.
