Nov. 22nd, 2004 08:25 pmI'm watching the Duke v. Davidson basketball game right now. I don't have allegiances with either team, but one of the guys on Davidson's team played for my high school and rode my bus and stuff back in the day. It's really cool to see him on TV, even though we weren't ever really friends or anything. I mean he knows me, but I doubt he ever sits around thinking, "I wonder what Meg Massie is doing these days." Nevertheless it's cool cause ESPN announcers are talking about someone I personally know.
I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving. I can't wait to hang out with my family, play some Balderdash, some Nintendo, and eat some of my mom's famous rolls. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. It always has been. I just love getting together with all my family members. We all live far apart, but it's like a sacred holiday that no one misses. And it'll be the first Thanksgiving with LUCY!!!! :)
There are some ADORABLE new pictures of her on my brother's website. Check out www.sbillmassie.com and click on the Lucinda link. The Halloween pics are precious. I love that little girl so much!
I also can't wait to hang out with Emily and Elana and Emily V (if she'll be around?). Yay for friends. I'm really looking forward to the day when I work a M-F, 9-5 job with real weekends like everyone else. Not having weekends wouldn't be a big deal but no one else has Mondays and Wednesdays off...plus it's nice to have two days in a row. But I may never have one of those jobs. You know me...always doing something a little different...
Anyhoo...back to basketball. Peace.
