Just for fun...
Dec. 21st, 2004 01:37 pmI made this up, it's not a survey thing or anything...inspired by a conversation I had today.
When I was in high school, I wore American Eagle clothes.
Now, I wear hippie clothes - thai dyed dresses, embroidered shirts...etc.
Then, my hair was short and styled.
Now, it's long and braided.
Then, my favorite band was Nine Inch Nails.
Now, I still like a little rock every now and then but I almost exclusively listen to folk.
Then, I thought I was a republican.
Now, I'm not sure I'm conservative enough to be a socialist.
Then, I was a ho.
Now, I'm married and monogamous.
Then, I thought I was really smart but was pretty stupid.
Now, I think the only way to be smart is to realize you don't know anything.
Then, I hated Christianity/religion in general.
Now, I'm married to a minister and really like Jesus (doesn't mean I'm a Christian).
Then, I was straight edge.
Now, I enjoy a beer with dinner, but still hate underaged drinking and would never allow it in my house.
Then, I thought it was so gross when chicks didn't shave.
Now, I'm one of those chicks.
Then, I was pretty cool.
Now, I relish my dorkiness.
Then, I hated a lot of people.
Now, I hate the idea of hate. I kind of always have.
Then, I was a vegetarian because I didn't want to kill the animals.
Now, I have more reasons.
If you'd have told me five years ago what I'd be like today, I wouldn't have believed you. For those of you that met me recently, can you believe that this is how I used to be?
