Dec. 28th, 2004 02:33 pmMy hair is getting too heavy to wear in a ponytail comfortably. That is a good thing, I guess, since I am so anxious for my hair to just be long. People say it is long but it's barely past my armpits and I want it to be down to my ass. It just takes so long...
Jer and I just woke up from a lovely nap together. I love my husband so much. It is nice to have the morning together to just lie around and share the relaxation. I anticipate a good day at work, too. I don't know why, really, I just only work 6 hours today and I imagine it will be a quick, simple day. I could be wrong, but I am going into it with good vibes.
Tomorrow is Driver family Christmas. I don't see enough of that side of the family. They're only down in Roanoke. Sheesh. The more time I spend with Jer's family, the more Brethren I feel. They are people who are Christians every day of the week, very much unlike the many Christians I knew growing up who seemed to forget about the Bible Monday through Saturday.
That reminds me, I have to place my heifer project orders so I have something to show for them tomorrow. We're donating about $100 worth of various animals this year. It's such a great cause. You should all check it out at www.heifer.org. It's the perfect gift for the person who has everything.
Off to work.
Peace.
