Jan. 7th, 2005 07:30 amI just realized something most excellent. Classes end on January 20th (that, in itself is excellent), and January 21st is the Girlyman show. What a perfect way to cap everything off. I haven't seen Girlyman since our wedding, which was over four months ago now, which is the longest I've gone between live Girlyman shows since we first saw them. By the way, that show is on a Friday night so not many of you have good excuses not to come.
Also, on March 31st, EFO will return to the Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton. Oh joyful occassion! :) And in between all of these great concerts, two most excellent CD releases will come - first the Accidentals, featuring THREE solos by my kid sister, (kind of four if you count that one song where everyone sings a line), then in May sometime we'll have the new Girlyman album - oooooh and the unrecorded Dave Carter stuff is coming out this year, too. I <3 Tracy Grammer. So anyway, if you're a folkie or would like more information about becomming a folkie, feel free to join me at the aforementioned shows:)
Where is Shelly? Seriously. Shelly? I miss you.
Does anyone remember the total nastiness I was going through this time last year where I could only eat cheerios for a month? Well...I think I'm going to self-impose that diet again, seeing as how I don't have insurance and can't afford the consultation this year. I feel about the same, so I guess I'll go back to the same treatment. Lots of water and cheerios. My body and I have not gotten along well lately. Fuck you, tummy. Fuck you, ovaries.
Anyway...I'm out of here. Peace.
