I am so freaking tired.
Friday night shift - 3-11pm
Saturday shift - 7am-5pm.
What the FUCK was I thinking?

But it's more money in my pocket, and it's not too much longer.

I got holiday pay for New Year's, so that's 60 more bucks I didn't expect. My job's not so bad, really.

Last night I was on the switchboard and a woman called about skiing today. I said she'd have to check tomorrow because the snow is melting fast and we don't know how much longer we'll be open. She said, "Oh, that's fine. If skiing is closed, we'll just snowboard." I shouldn't have told her they were the same slopes. ;)
Then these people who were in room 2401ABC wanted a different time wakeup call for each phone in their room (assholes), and I seriously pondered "accidentally" putting in 4am on one of them. But I behaved. Regretfully;)

Time to go. I'll be free in 10 hours...then it's Pilates with husband and reading all night.

Well, I join you in the state of having a dearth of sleep. I couldn't sleep at all. So, I listened to music and read Susan Sontag's "Illness As Metaphor/AIDS and Its Metaphors", which I really think you oughtta read (well, I think everyone should read as much Sontag as possible)
