Feb. 2nd, 2005 08:09 amAside from the fact that my eyes itch, things are good. My shoulder has been giving me minimal trouble the past two days, which is hopefully a permanent step in the right direction.
I had a good talk with Olga yesterday at work. I'm going to help her with her writing. I'm very excited about this. She wants to pay me, but I don't feel like I'm really necessarily qualified to teach writing (I mean, I can edit...), so I told her not to pay me, and then we'll see how it goes. I'm really excited about it:) She also invited me to her house to hang out with her and her family. I found out the other day she's 41. I thought she was at least ten years younger than that! But anyway she's great fun and I'm really glad to be friends with her. It also gave me the idea to offer my tutoring services to the families of Massanutten. I'll put an ad on the bulletin board at the mailboxes. I'm excited.
I'm going to play bridge with Mums tomorrow. I'm riding high on our last victory, and hope we can accomplish a similar feat this week. It's funny - when I first started playing, I used to get excited if we just didn't get a bottom board, but now if I don't earn top honors, I feel really disappointed. My, how the times change.
Oh, my playlist just reminded me I had a dream about the Getaway People last night. Something about a reunion concert. I don't have the details. I do also remember having a really scary dream, but I don't remember that one clearly, either, which is probably for the best. I miss the Getaway People.
Jeremy is sick:( This means I'm likely to fall ill before long. Eh. I've been taking vitamins every day. I'm such a good little girl:) But I still had potato chips for breakfast yesterday...hmm...
Anyway, I'm outta here. Time to consider the day ahead.
Peace.
