I'm just in from a walk with Jeremy. It's getting cold again here, so it wasn't as comfortable as our previous walks, but comfortable is not the point. Exercise is the point. If it's comfortable, it's probably not great exercise. Well, maybe there are a few exceptions;) Anyway, it was a nice, 2 mile walk. I'm feeling good now, but my ankles have been bothering me lately. It's probably the new shoes.

Today we are going to have lunch at the American and Indian Cafe in court square. Yummy goodness:) Then I am going to Charlottesville for my bridge date with Mom. It will be one of the last ones, because I switched my Friday shifts at the desk to Thursdays, so I don't have that dreaded 3-11 then 7-5 setup anymore. That's good.

William's surgery is today. Thanks for all the well-wishing you guys have been doing. It means a lot to me. Him, too, I'm sure. Granddad's surgery is tomorrow...his is a lot more complicated, I'm afraid, but we're hopeful about that one, too. The book I'm reading is about a family going through a leukemia fight with their 27-year-old sister/daughter. It's nothing like what I was expecting, but it is a captivating read.

What's the title of the book? It sounds really interesting.

It's called True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters. The entire story is told through the author's correspondence - basically she writes letters and emails, and we get a very one-sided book - but it's interesting that way.
