I checked the tracking number on UPS and it said that my MK stuff is already here in McGaheysville...it's just a matter of getting to my door. I'm really excited about it. I've used all the samples that Amanda gave me and they're really great. Who'd have thought I'd be a Mary Kay lady? :) I think I'll have fun with it, though, and you're still not likely to see me wearing makeup. Just with smoother skin, perhaps. I have to go to work at 3, and then of course I do the come home at 11 and sleep briefly thing before scooting off at 7 tomorrow, so I won't have time to rifle through and play with anything until tomorrow night. OOOH the UPS truck just drove through the guard gate...maybe he's coming here with my package. Bastards. He drove right past my house. Oh well. I hate waiting. I also hate working on Friday nights - but this is my last one! Next week I have off for Emily's concert, and the week after that is when my new schedule kicks in. Rock on.

It's too cold. I need long johns to wear to work. GERM is such a bunch of tightwads, they won't turn on the fucking heat and they make us wear khaki pants which do not exactly keep a girl warm - even a girl who never shaves her legs and has a "winter coat." It's a harsh work environment - oh but it's payday. That's something I'd forgotten about. :)

We're such kids. Brent and Jeremy and I always listen for sirens when we hear calls come over Brent's radio for Massanutten, and we always run to the window to watch the fire trucks. I was just thinking about how silly we are. Hehe:)

I'm hoping work will be slow today. It won't be, though, cause it's Valentine's Day weekend and everyone is coming for long weekends, starting today. Bitches. In that case, I hope I'm on switchboard, where I don't have to get up and move around and I'm not expected to smile. Not that I'm not feeling friendly or anything, it's just that I don't like working out front because so many of my Friday coworkers bug me. I really miss Ashley N on the weekends, too. I can't wait until Jan hires Gina. She's pretty much decided to already. I think Gina gets here in two weeks or so. February 23 sticks out in my mind.

I can't tell if I keep finding more grey hairs or if the same one just keeps catching my eye. I think it's the same one. Here's hoping;)

So we have a scanner. If I had a dime for every automatic fire alarm call they run to 2000 Keely Court.. I would be rich :)

Those buildings are dumps. Funny you should mention that, because I accidentally hit the panic button behind the desk yesterday while I was working - oops - but I think they were able to cancel the call. ;)
