jianantonicThe in-laws are coming for a visit today. We haven't seen them since Christmas, so that will be nice. I keep trying to get them to come to the Accidentals concert next week, but they don't seem like they're going to. In almost all cases, "We'll see," means, "It's not going to happen but I don't have a good excuse." Paul. Anyway.
I didn't get enough sleep last night. The worst part is, I dreamed that I was cleaning house, and I woke up, and none of the crap I'd suffered through in my dream had actually happened at all, so my house is still a mess, even after a whole blissful night's rest lost to "cleaning." It's ok, tomorrow's my day off and this mothertrucker is SLEEPING IN. Probably til 8 or something. ;) I'm also going to play volleyball tomorrow night at LeClub, I think. I'm not sure how athletic you're supposed to be to randomly join a bunch of strangers in a pickup game...you know whenever you're playing and someone who sucks joins in, you're always thinking something about what an asshole they are for ruining the game. The last time I played volleyball, I was good - but it's been a while. Hopefully I won't be the worst player there, then someone else can be the asshole.
Even though I bitched and moaned about staying until 5 (at the time I thought I'd started my period and the longer I had to stay there, the higher the likelihood of an embarassing scene on the way out - luckily there was no such scene), I didn't mind it. A whole new batch of people comes in at 3, and I got to sit for two hours on the switchboard with Cave and Zach. They are two of my favorites. It's funny because I used to really dislike Jessica (Cave), and Zach is going into the military, so you wouldn't think these are people I'd be happy to be with, but they are two of the more intelligent ones there. Today I work with Christine, Wayne, Darlene, and Kathy. Chris usually comes in at 9am on Sundays, but he's sick, so we probably won't see him, and it's not likely they'll bother to cover his shift. Meh. At least I DO get off at 3 today.
