Feb. 15th, 2005 08:35 amI'm still cleaning the house, but it's still a giant mess. It's so overwhelming, because basically we've thrown all this random shit in our room and have nowhere to put it now. We don't have enough closet space in this house - no kitchen pantry, no storage closets anywhere. Just regular old clothes closets that aren't even big enough for all the clothes to begin with. So. Between the absolute plethora of clothes and the piles of shit that I don't need right now but can't throw away, I lack the space I need to truly clean. This wouldn't be a problem if we weren't renting out the spare bedrooms, but we wouldn't be able to afford the house if we weren't doing that, so...I'll have to make do. Right now I'm running some laundry. After I finish this set of laundry, the bathroom will be officially clean, by anyone's standards. However, the bathroom is just the tip of a very large iceberg. But I've seen this house clean before and it will happen again. Hopefully by Sunday when Amanda comes to see it for the first time - but it's really not that likely. I'll be happy to have it presentable for the MK party in two-three weeks.
Yesterday I was all kinds of productive. I picked up my official marriage license at the courthouse, then got my new social security card, then got my new driver's license. The picture is less than ideal. The hologram covers my left eye, and it really makes me look like a one-eyed freak. I'm smiling in it, too. I didn't want to smile, but the lady was really nice and when she said "smile!" I didn't want to be the grump who didn't smile for the nice lady. So I have a goofy ID, but I have to get another new one in three years anyway. The coolest thing is that it's turned the right way and doesn't have any of those "under 21 until 04-27-04" things on it, because I'm already older than all the necessary ID-checking ages. Rah:) I also did some grocery shopping and surprised Jer at work with a rose. I got my name changed on my bank account and called it a day. When I got home, I watched the new "Freaky Friday." Danny's right. Lindsay Lohan has a great rack. But I do think they're phony. Still, though...haha
Today, I planned to sleep in, but again woke up at 8am. That's kind of sleeping in, cause I went to bed at 10:30, so it's a long night, I guess. I threw in another load of laundry, which I'll go move to the dryer shortly. I have to work from 3-9pm tonight. It's my easiest shift of the week. Tuesday is the slowest day for checkins, because the sales offices are closed on Wednesday and Thursday, so they don't schedule any promos to come during those days, and all the timeshare people check in on weekends. On top of that, it's only six hours. I'm supposed to work with Michael tonight. I suppose I'll find out today whether or not he got the boot. Some say he did - I don't really think so, but I am curious as to why he wasn't here this weekend (I know that was Jan's decision).
Anyway, my goals for today are to buy my Indigo Girls tickets ASAP, get at least two more loads of laundry done, and maybe put up the tapestries in my room (to get them off the floor and to finally decorate). We'll see how long I can go without a total allergy meltdown.
Peace.

Date: 2005-02-15 04:55 pm (UTC)apparently her mother also had very large boobs, so i've heard.
and i'd like to believe that they're real, since they are very nice boobies.
and if i could choose how i wanted to die, i would choose suffocation in lindsay lohan's bosom. coz that's the way to go.
