Feb. 16th, 2005 01:17 pmJeremy is helping clean now, but I am about to crack. First of all, the allergies are going nuts. Second, I was down to one load of laundry left from all the piles of clothes we'd left in the bathroom, and Jer decided to throw all the clothes from our room into the bathroom, so he can vacuum. I agree with him that they need to be laundered as well, so they might as well go in there - but I JUST GOT IT CLEAN:( And now there's probably seven more loads to do. Where all this came from, I don't know. I also don't know how we became such slobs. But this is it. I mean it. When this house is clean, finally, it's going to stay that way, dammit. I can't stand it anymore. I love this house, but it looks like shit. So we're going to fix that. It's just going to take a long time and be very frustrating. But, progress...there is progress.
I work 3-11 tonight. I'm already exhausted from the cleaning, so I know it's going to be a long night. Hopefully the others will be entertaining and we'll have lots to talk about. We usually do. I think Wednesday is my favorite shift. Free pizza, my favorite manager (Sprouse), Olga, Zach, and alternately Cave and Burke. It's a good group. Plus it's midweek so not too busy.
I've been thinking about all the outlets I have for this Mary Kay thing. The obvious ones are the people at work, and my mom and mother-in-law's friends. But I was thinking, I do have lots of girlfriends at Bridgewater (that I NEVER see:'( ), and there's the bulletin board at the mailboxes. I could just post a little note up there. Fun fun. I can't wait to get started - for these reasons and also because once I'm started, that means I have a clean house! :)
Well, this entry is long enough. Peace.
