I left for work about ten minutes ago, and then realized I still had a half hour and what was my rush? So I'm back inside now, for the next twenty minutes or so. The acid reflux crap is still el baddo and I desperately want it to go away! I've been sucking on cough drops most of the day with temporary relief at best. I am aware that cough drops are not a solution to acid reflux. I just hoped they'd ease the burning feeling on my throat. At the cost of a horrible tasting "candy," they do. It's a tradeoff, but at least I can wash a bad taste away with water and such. I should enlist the hubbo to pick up some antacids at the store on his way home.

Jer opened a Roth IRA today. I'm going to go to the bank and do one of my own on Friday. Even though we're totally broke and the money could probably be better spent, I know we're more resilient in our twenties than we will be if we're broke in our sixties, so this is a preventative measure. It makes me feel all grown up.

If I keep going to work and complaining about aches and pains, they're going to think I'm a hypochondriac. Maybe I am. If so, I'm doing a pretty good job of convincing myself I'm in a lot of pain, and I am not masochistic. I'm too much of a wimp to be one of those.

In other news, Erin C. is my hero. Heroine. Both. She knows why. I <3 Erin. And Emily V. - I should know tonight about the OM thing.

Peace.
