Yay awesome night. Got off work at 3. Jan was all like, "Thanks for all you do for us, Meg." Random moments of appreciation are good, even if they do come from the person I suspect will fire me when she finds out I'm job-hunting. The reason she let me go at 3 is because Jer is going to Gatlinburg tomorrow. I'm so sad! It will be more than a week without him, and I've never been in this house by myself before like that. Eep. But it's alright. He's going to be raking in some serious moolah, and I'm going to gallavant my ass up to Fairfax on Fri/Sat for some OM goodness. I'll still miss him:(

Tonight was super fun. I told Jer he had to take me out to get himself out of the dog house for staying away all day yesterday. We decided to go to Golden Corral. That place is yum, but I really shouldn't go on weekends. More expensive and crowded. Anyway, we'd just decided to go, and Marcella called me. I was totally jazzed about that because I've been wanting to hang out with that girl forever...but timing is the suck. So she met us there and we had a great time just talking about all the stuff I can't talk to people at work about. It was great. Note to self: hang out with 'cella more.

Now it's time to play with my husband, since he's going away. My mom will be down there, too. I wish I could go:( Not that I had a great time last year...oh well.
