I amuse myself sometimes. Right now is one of those times. I don't think I ever mentioned the dream I had about the guard gate guy the other night. Basically I had a dream that he was the sweetest guy in the world, and ever since then, I've had a huge urge to make friends with him. In real life, his name is Reinhart, and he works at the guard gate here at Massanutten. Anyway, I've had what I call a friend crush on him. It's basically the same as a crush, but without the romantic intentions. I just wanted to make friends. I drove through the gate and noticed that he was there tonight, but I couldn't stop because there were other cars behind me. But the guard gate is right in front of my house, so I was thinking, I should just walk down and talk to him. I decided it wouldn't seem terribly weird if I walked down to ask him about the motorcycle policy on the resort, since that is a question I get asked a lot at the desk and I don't know the answer. I still couldn't convince myself that I wasn't being a total weirdo/stalker, so it took a while to work up the courage to go down there. But after a while (and after stepping in the most awful smelling something in the whole neighborhood), I just ran down there and knocked on his window. He's wearing a wedding ring, so my hopes to hook him up with a single friend were dashed. He also looks a little older than I'd originally assumed. But he was really nice. He seemed surprised that I came down and talked, but he was friendly. He probably is just as sweet as my dream suggested. Anyway, I won't feel awkward about talking to him in the future, now that the ice is broken, and the friend crush is satisfied.

Again, I SWEAR I don't use drugs.

I was able to get Brent out for a walk today. We went up to Ranier and checked out the amazing homes up there. Seriously. Amazing.

Ugh I have more to say but I can't sit here with my feet smelling like this any longer. I have to go!
