My cat is such an attention whore! She's on my lap rubbing herself all over me. It's like, yes, I know you're here, I love you, rub rub, go away please. But I put her on the floor and she jumps right back up. If Elizabeth were here, this wouldn't be a problem. She'd just go rub up on her. Whore cat.

I cannot sing enough praises for Mermaid Avenue. Seriously. It's a fucking brilliant CD. Billy Bragg and Wilco. All lyrics by Woody Guthrie. Go, spend your money. You won't regret it.

It was hard for me to go to sleep last night because I got to a really scary part of my book and I wanted to keep reading until I finished it...but I still had 80 pages to go when I couldn't hold my eyes open any longer. I'll finish it tonight, most likely. I'm just glad I didn't have any dreams about being stalked and killed.

Today I'm having lunch with Ray and Brent at CiCi's. I love that place. I work 3-11 tonight, then 3-11 tomorrow, and then I can start getting excited. I hope I have a chance to see my niece this weekend...she's going to be coming as I'm going, but hopefully we'll cross paths a bit. I love Lucy:)

The Diamondbacks kicked ass again last night. I love baseball:) Brandon Webb, my favorite pitcher in the MLB, had a stellar outing. 8.0 innings, 94 pitches, 8H, 2ER, 2BB, and 4K. Then Brandon Lyon got his fourth save in one inning of scoreless play. The Dbacks are coming to DC for the Nats' home opener this weekend, but even though I'll be up there, I can't go:( Sadness.

Anyway, time to go shower so I'm ready for this lunch bidness.
