Apr. 14th, 2005 09:57 amMy boys are kicking ass! Four game winning streak:) I <3 the Diamondbacks...and today they're in DC. Not that I'm there, but since it's a local team, it means they'll be on TV, anyway. Last year I think they were on TV out here a total of three times. It helps that they're above .500 this year. So far.
Work wasn't bad yesterday. As much as I dread going to work and am dying to quit, I still have a pretty decent time when I'm there. The phones were quiet for most of the night, and we only had 20 checkins, so we didn't have a lot going on. Instead, the concierge desk challenged us to a rubber band war. The thing is, there are five of us, and two of them. And we have a back room. They're stationed right in the middle of the lobby. Not a wise move on the part of the concierge boys. I work tonight 3-11, then I have a nice, two-day weekend to look forward to. It's a crazy schedule for the next week. I'm going to Fairfax, Charlottesville, and Roanoke this weekend. Then on Monday night I'm hosting that MK party at BC. Then next Sunday I'm going to Williamsburg to see Emily sing in two concerts. I'm going to cry. How embarassing. But it will be fun. Depending on how early I'll have to go, I might even be able to go to church with Jer on Sunday, but I'm kind of thinking I'll have to leave early, cause I did last time.
Anyway...off to make breakfast. Maybe more later. Peace.
