jianantonicI am happy today. Jer and I have spent the whole day together so far (I have to go to work at 3, so my day is effectively over at that point), and we've had a great time. It's just what we needed to calm our nerves. We went to the store this morning and spent way too much money, but it's all good. We started doing our FRFF 2005 preparations, so Jer bought a sun tea pitcher and all the ingredients for fire water. Stuart Jewell will be a happy camper. We just had a good time shopping together. We also ran into Debbie West and caught up with her. She's yet another former employee who got screwed by the Dixons. Then Jer fixed lunch while I showered. It was yummy. We ate brown rice with cheese, creamy corn, and fried green beans. So yum. And healthy:)
Last night I came home from work at 8pm because I was headed for 43 hours this week and they're trying to crack down on OT. I didn't mind leaving 3 hours early. Jer was setting up a surprise for me when I got home. He made me hide out for a while, then he brought me down to the patio out back where he had lit 32 candles - one for every month we've been together. We drank wine and enjoyed the outdoor air and talked over our shit from yesterday morning. It was so nice. It was the first part of my birthday present. I honestly haven't gotten that excited about my birthday yet...but I am excited that we're going out to the Indian & American Cafe tomorrow. Yummy.
This weekend Jer and I are going to see the Accidentals at William & Mary. Emily V - come with us?
Anyway, time to head out to work.
