jianantonicGOOD DAY! Work went well. I left at 3 because we were very not busy. I walked to and from work for the fourth time in a row. I like doing that. I think it will be a rain or shine activity from now on. After work, Jer and I did some general hanging out until 5, when we left for birthday dinner part one. Apparently I get another one later in the week, so that's exciting. Brent and Elizabeth joined us at the American and Indian Cafe. I love that place oh so much. Sadly, they are phasing pokoras out of the menu:( That was my favorite part - but the rest is still quite good, so it's not a big problem.
After dinner, Jer wanted to run to the mall to check his schedule at Ruby's, only the schedule wasn't out. Instead, we aimlessly wandered for about two hours. I tried on some clothes, but didn't get anything. I think I'm going to go for the gold on ebay. I'm watching seven auctions right now. I can't afford to bid on them all, but there are some seriously perfect hippie dresses in the running - they all end in two days, so I'm anxiously waiting for that final moment. I am an ebay junkie:) Jer had to go peepee, so I waited for him in the Dollar Tree. While waiting, I managed to find 18 things I couldn't live without, including quite a bit of FRFF gear. We got these awesome glowstick lanterns (complete with two joints, as advertised). I got six of them - one to play with now, and one for every night at FRFF. I also got an umbrella hat - goofy, but totally perfect for sitting through the downpours to hear the performers. I think I will go back there and stock up on glowstick gear right before the fest. That will be the theme of my personal tent. Neon glowing things. And Emily V. says she's probably coming this year, and you KNOW she'll have glow sticks. Huzzah!
Now we are all lounging around the living room. Jer and Elizabeth are discussing her camp future and I am listening in while typing here. The conversation is kind of a downer though and I just can't stop being excited about Falcon Ridge. I don't have my countdown in front of me but I think we're inside the 90 day mark now. !!!
Seriously, folks, who's coming? The only definites I know are Jer, Helen, and Shelly. Do-na-na? Emily V? Stuart and Janice said they'll be back with Olivia again. Olivia is the coolest person between 5 and 15 that I know. Emily G has to go to stupid Norway and learn how to shoot stupid polar bears and research stupid glaciers. The middle part of that sentence sounds way wrong. She probably won't be shooting anything, but she has to learn just in case something tries to eat her. It's kinda too bad. But I want her back in one piece because there is NO WAY I'm letting her back out of her FOURTH straight folk fest. She'll be there in '06.
