There has been more than enough negativity in this journal to last a lifetime, so it's time to turn that all around. The most positive thing in my life is my circle of friends. I've done this once before but I think it's high time I recognize this once more. In no particular order, I swear...

Emily G - You are the best friend I've ever known. I love you like a sister and then some and I know you know that. I could write volumes about your awesomeness, but I have other people to praise, too. I'll save it for another time.

Emily V - I wrote an email to Helen about Falcon Ridge telling her I'd been stocking up on gadgets and toys, and she wrote back curious about what I'd been collecting. I said to her: I've got glowsticks of all kinds, frisbees, more water bottles and spray fans, and the best gadget of all - a Vancho! She wrote back to say how true that was. You are a true Ms. Fix it. Whether I have a broken sheep or a broken heart, your friendship and love is as solid as a rock.

Shelly - You are the main reason Falcon Ridge is my favorite thing in the world. Of course I would love it with or without camp edhead, but you made me feel like one of the group (literally, one of EFO!) from the moment I first set foot on that farm. Your open arms seem to embrace every person in Hillsdale. Can't wait to go bowlin' in the hills with you:)

Donna - Thanks for giving Virginia a chance! Just like Shelly, you welcomed us into the Pirate's Patch group, no questions asked, and made it such a memorable experience for us. Please, please, please come back this year.

Elizabeth - You bring a much-needed level of estrogen into the house at Massanutten. I can't begin to tell you how much I'll miss you, but I know you're doing the best thing for you, and for that I am very happy and excited for you.

Cady - You read every last moan and whine on my LJ, and you always offer up an encouraging word. You will definitely make an AMAZING teacher.

Eric - Someone my age who plays bridge! Huzzah! And a baseball fan! One day I'm sure our paths will cross in the "real world," and I look forward to that day.

Erin - My savior. You have been the voice of encouragement throughout my MBC application process. If I get this, the job of my dreams, it will be because of you, and I can't wait to take you out to a big fine dinner, which will also be a congratulatory feast upon your acceptance to the grad school of your choice. I will always look back fondly on our days of nude law enforcement and borderline homosexual worship of the UVA women's basketball team. I hope one day to add your publications to my reading list.

Rebekah - We don't see enough of each other. I think the time is near for a DI reunion. Not just a party or something, but actual DI participation. We were such a dream team. The "black sheep" of our team can't begin to describe your contributions:) DI was the best time of my life prior to experiencing Falcon Ridge (and even still it's a tough call). I miss those days so much!

Danny and Ben - Let's just say I can't wait to have one big, sloppy, japanese alien tentacle orgy with you.

Camm - you can get in on that, too, but you have to remember my phone number and put it to use first;) I'm just kidding, I'm so bad at keeping up with people, I shouldn't talk. I do hope I see you very soon - we need to catch up and I know you always worry that your life story is boring, but to me it's quite interesting and I can't wait to hear the latest.

If I didn't put you on the list, it's most likely because I didn't realize you'd read this. I love everyone, really, because I've banned everyone that I don't love from reading my journal anyway;) If you'd like some compliments, just ask, and I'll come up with something;)

Oh yeah, and Jeremy - you're the one who married me, so you win.

Peace.

WTF, my comment looks like it didn't show up. It was supposed be: <3. Okay, well now the touching minimalism of that has been lost! Oh well!
