jianantonicAll I had to do was ask, and sure enough, the day went swimmingly. No major setbacks, anyhow.
I did misplace my portable CD player. I have looked everywhere I thought it could be (everywhere I was between the last time I saw it and the time I realized I couldn't find it), and no dice. And it has my Mark Erelli CD in it, too:( But I think it will turn up soon, so I am not going to panic.
Darren's last day was Sunday, and I don't think they've replaced him on the schedule yet, so I think we'll be a man down tonight. It shouldn't be a problem...we were a little overcrowded last week anyway. More news on the quitting front...rumors are spreading that Burke and Meganne are not going to show up anymore. Burke got a stern talking to about the situation, and apparently wasn't very happy with the outcome. So they've said to a few people that their last day was last week, but they haven't given notice to anyone. We'll see. It would suck a lot if they just ditch us, because this is graduation weekend and we're super busy, but I can't say I'd miss them.
Another thing I won't miss is our old uniform. We get to retire them tonight. Ten bucks says you'll never see me in khaki pants again.
The Diamondbacks won again last night to take the series vs. the Giants. I do not like the Giants. The Giants are my least favorite team in all of sports. Barry Bonds is my least favorite player. Not that he is playing now. If/When I get a better job, one of the first things on my agenda will be a trip to AZ to see a game at the BOB. :)
Anyway, I've got things to do today, so I'm going to make like a bread truck and haul buns.

Date: 2005-05-05 07:04 am (UTC)I hope your CD player turns up! Once my old (lemon!) car was at the garage, and the mechanics didn't lock it before leaving for the night. Some jerk(s) came through and stole my CD player and all of my CDs - including one a friend's band made. :(
