I did have a great week. Now I'm all pumped up about Falcon Ridge. It's like a month and a half away! And there was much rejoicing...

See, I was trying to explain to Andrew why he needs to come to FRFF, and I think I may have overloaded him with pictures, videos, and mp3s, but in the process, I got myself all wound up. I love FRFF with every ounce of my being. Shelly, Donna (You'd BETTER be there!), Helen, I can't WAIT to see you there! If any other Pirate's Patch kids are reading this, I look forward to seeing you, too. Speaking of which, does ^Kat^ have an LJ? It seems like the kind of thing she'd do. Anyway.

Also, in totally other news, my next door neighbors just put their house up for sale (it's my flatulence problem, probably). I looked at the listing on the good ol' www, and they have the SAME square footage, the SAME bedroom/bathroom setup, LESS acreage, and they're asking 319,900. We paid $154,000 for ours. Does that mean if we listed our house today, we could ask TWICE that? Okay, their house was built in 2002 and ours is 30 years old - but still, all the same goodies. TWICE as much. Can I get a sheeeit? Not that I want to move, but if we ever have $$ problems...I guess we could make a good bit off the old housearoo. Can I just say that Patti McInerney is the best damn real estate agent IN THE WORLD? I <3 my house. I <3 the Nut.

i needta send the edhead list a "Pirate's Patch' email coz due to the death of my computer, I needta get everyone's tent/car/arrival/etc. stats again.

i'm gonna send an official email, but wanted to send a 'hey, y'all, today's the last day to get the toy surprise for booking the cruise early' email instead. =)

Actually, our tent will have 5 people this year. Me, Jer, and Helen from last year, and the new additions of Emily and Andrew. Me, Jer, Emily, and Andrew are all coming in one car, and Helen lives in NH so she comes in her own car. Our tent is 13x20 and we're not bringing the napping carpet because there's no way we can fit that plus four people, y'know?

Aha! Four people in car! Ignore my earlier comment about "how many people are coming up?" , then. :-) But I reiterate--it will all work out.
