"Overnight at the Pirate's Patch, you won't believe the buzz you'll catch
It don't come through drink, it don't come through smoke
It comes through the joy of the village folk"
~Eddie From Ohio, "Payday in the Village"
This is the line after which we named our FRFF camp.

As if I weren't already excited enough about Falcon Ridge (you're getting sick of this, aren't you?), Jeremy made Colorado Wraps a la the Traveler's Kitchen (our favorite food vendor there) for lunch. Yummmmmmmm.

Shelly - I guess you'll see it, but I sent a Pirate's Patch email to the edhead list to get tent/people/car counts, since you were having trouble with your email. You'll see it, anyway. How appropriate that Payday in the Village came up on my playlist while discussing the Pirate's Patch:)

Okay, that's all I'm going to say about Falcon Ridge for right now. I know y'all must be bored of it (but you wouldn't be if you went -- then you'd understand).

So I meant to go back to the pool today, but instead I ended up sleeping in and missing the aquaerobics class, and now I'm just kind of lazing around waiting for 3 o'clock to sneak up on me so I have to go to work. Cave is working today - it's the first time we've worked together in two weeks, so we'll have a lot of catching up to do. She got engaged on her birthday (May 21st). I told her that's when he was going to do it (pure speculation on my part), but she didn't think so. I've sold so many engagement rings in my lifetime that I know all the tricks:)

Jer says we ARE going to the 9am water aerobics class tomorrow, and we WILL swim laps afterward. Fine by me. I would've gone today but, damn, I was tired. I haven't slept well since coming back home, because I got used to staying up until the wee hours at the tournament, but my house has so many windows that the sun is my alarm clock, going off regularly in the early morning. Tonight, the plan is to come home at 11pm, jump on the computer for a maximum of ONE hour, then go to bed at midnight. Then wake up at 8 and get to the pool. Anyway...time to get ready for work now. Phooey.

49 days...

Peace.

saw you on the PC4Women friends page, how do you know about EFO! Are you from the DC area?

EFO love spreads far and wide across this nation. I am from Virginia, but heard of EFO for the first time from my California-dwelling cousin. I must've seen them about 40 or 50 times in the five years that I've been a fan.
