jianantonicI didn't see how the ibuprofen was really helping all that much, so when it was time for my afternoon dose, I opted for alternative pain medication: liquor. I'm a bit intoxicated at the moment, but remain mostly functional.
Link and Carrie are here, but I am pooped from all the hopping around I had to do today (shorthanded again at work) and I'm just crashing in the computer chair while Jer shows them the house. We're going to CiCi's later, I'm told. We're also going to take pictures of the foot - I saw it from an angle I hadn't noticed before, and it turns out the whole backside is bruised quite badly. I hadn't seen it because before today, I couldn't turn my foot that way. Pictures are coming.
Right before I got off work today, the phones started ringing off the hooks. The cable is out on the whole mountain, and apparently, every single person on the resort was watching TV at 2:30 on Sunday. WHY? There's nothing on on Sundays except very old reruns and bass fishing. PLUS it's beautiful outside! Finally I started answering the phone by saying, "Front desk, we know your cable is out and the cable company has been notified. If this is regarding something else, how may I help you?" I'm glad I got off when I did.
In conclusion, my cats are cute.
