Jeremy is on the phone with the IRS right now and it is stressing me the F out. Apparently, he's got it all straightened out now, so that's good, but it's like, just get the effing return already. We're due almost $2000, and given I was expecting that in May, I'm getting kind of antsy for it now that it's mid-June. But one day soon I'll look in my bank account, and I won't be thinking about it, and I'll have 2k more than I expected to see. It will probably also be sometime around Falcon Ridge, which will be great, since that's precisely when I'll need and want it the most.

Speaking of FRFF, I got the sad news yesterday that

andrew2themx won't be able to make it. On the one hand, I'm bummed, because I was really excited to introduce him to the wonderful worlf of the folk festival, but on the other hand, it means that

flamingophoenix, and I can go together in one car. It will be cramped in the back seat, but we'll manage. We're packing lighter this year, because two years of experience has taught us exactly what we don't need.

I have a serious hankering to go shopping. I still can't walk, so it's best that I don't go - being up and about too much without the opportunity to sit really hurts my right leg. But when I'm healed, I'm definitely hitting the town.

The status of my foot is decent. I kept it elevated all day yesterday, so the swelling is mostly gone. I imagine if I try to walk or stand on it again, it will swell right back up, though. The bruising is still bad, but the general pain isn't too bad. I'm hoping it'll be ready for walking in two or three days. Think happy thoughts...

Now we're going to cut Jeremy's hair. If he's going to be a restaurant manager, he's got to cut it for the man, so we're going to donate it to Locks of Love. He's got 14 inches of beautiful red hair:) I had a dream about this last night, that we cut it and I hated it short...but I think I'll like it either way. Wish me luck:) (I'm the one cutting it!)
