Well, in addition to liking to eat bread, my cats have also taken up breaking into my purse, extracting tampons, and eating them. Ironic, if you're familiar with the infamous loaf of bread story from my family. Basically, what happened, is my very modest grandmother had company over when my grandfather called home to ask if she needed him to pick anything up at the store. Her answer was, "Well, you know..." expecting he'd get it, since there were four women in the house at that time. He brought home a loaf of bread. Ever since, "bread," has been the code word. Breadsticks, thin slice, etc. It's actually a pretty versatile code word. Anyway.

Jeremy is adding me to his insurance today. We got some old tax checks that his dad hadn't filed from when he was still a kid, and it's enough to pay my health insurance for at least the next six months, so he's going to go ahead and add me to his policy. Unfortunately, it won't come soon enough to treat my foot, which is betterish, but still irksome. I'm still not walking, but the swelling and bruising have gone down significantly. I guess I'll be close to walking when the bruising is gone. If not, then I'll definitely see a doctor. To be honest, I am worried I might've done some irreperable damage. I keep getting different opinions. Some say I probably have a stress fracture; others reassure me that it's normal for healing to take this long; no one seems to fully understand exactly what I did. Heck, I don't even know that. But they keep talking about my ankle, and it's like, no, this is my foot.

I finished Harry Potter #2 this morning. SO GOOD. I'm so glad I've gotten into reading now. I should totally be an English teacher. We'll see.

Now is eat fake chicken time. Peace.
