Long night.
I'm now officially full time at the front desk, with shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is indeed much happiness. It means health insurance, money, easy work. Good things. I also sold 3 bracelets yesterday to coworkers. That's exciting, too. I only worked 6 hours, but I made about $70, so that's good. All you people who make more than $10 an hour can BITE ME. Actually not really. Living wage here is $7.50/hour, and with the rent payments from our "tennants," plus the not having to drive to work, I'm doing just fine. Plus I'm pretty sure I'm a shoe-in for the BC job that I want, I just have to wait till summer to actually start that one. It's probably a good $25-$30k. Again, doesn't sound like much, but it's way more than I'm making now, and I bought a house on my current wage, so I'll be fine:)

Anyway it was a long night. My sore throat makes it very difficult to breathe comfortably, so I was waking up all the time. I had a dream about Daniel Moore. Anybody remember him? Basically he and I were walking on a hiking trail at night and came to the end of it at the Barlows' driveway, so we went to their house and played nintendo. Then I woke up and couldn't get back to the game I was on, so I gave up and let the other dreams come to me. They were boring, though.

I should go so I can get some breakfast before class.

Peace.

I used to believe there was a natural order - laws of nature, things like that. Now, I'm not so sure. I think all of that, even math, is just made up to make people feel more comfortable about the world. I won't get into it now because I have to leave for work, but this all came about from reading Thomas Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. Class today was lousy - I kept feeling dizzy and wanting to go to sleep. I think I'm sicker than my symptoms indicate. But not too too sick, just the kind of sick where you should lie in bed for a few days straight and then get back to normal. I'd like to do that, but when? I work tonight until 10, tomorrow until 11, Saturday until 9, then up at 7 for the day shift on Sunday. My next "day off" is Monday, but I have class then so it really doesn't count. Oh well, not like the job is hard - I'm just not supposed to sleep there. Sigh.

Ding...lunch is ready.

Peace
