Yesterday was fun. Mom and Dad came out with the truck so we could get some couches. We bought two of them from the replacements department here. Basically, whenever they refurbish a set of units, they sell all the old furniture at really low prices. We got two couches (pull outs even) for $40 each. So finally Jer and I can sit together in our own house without being in bed. It's nice:)

We buried Buster in the front yard. It was a short but sweet funeral. I feel bad for the little guy. He was always sick. Jer thinks he was allergic to his own fur. I guess that happens sometimes. But he's now in guinea pig heaven, hanging out with guinea pigs of old. I hope he's having a good time.

Jer and I both worked in the evening. We were so busy that literally everyone was called in and asked to work. We had about half the total staff working last night. When it started to die down, I got a chance to chat with Debbie. I really like her. She's one of the older women - I'd guess 40ish. She has a daughter a little younger than I am and two sons, ages 14 and 5. She's a social worker by day and is absolutely one of the sweetest people I know. Love to Debbie. Anyway we were pretty crazy busy. I got to deal with a really angry guy. I ended up laying the smack down. I think some of my managers are too light on these people because they're afraid of being complained about or something - but I see it for what it is - a bunch of assholes trying to take the company for a ride because something was slightly less than perfect. See, that's the joy of timeshare owning. It's not a hotel. It's your own apartment one week out of the year. You pay for it, you deal with its problems, and you have a lot of people to ask for help, but you don't get your money refunded because that money is your mortgage payment, not your nightly fee. Anyway this guy was a real jackass to me but I wouldn't let him speak to Michael until after he'd already crossed the fuming line because I didn't want Michael to bend for him. They really should make me manager;) Not that I want to be. I was able to pick up another extra hour and a quarter due to the busy factor, so I'll make some overtime this week. Yesssssssss.

When I got home, Jer was on our new couch playing video games. We played together for a while and had a lovely time before retiring for the night. And now I am waiting for Helen to arrive and the three of us are going thrift shopping. I can't wait:) I hope to find a nice jacket or coat today (pea coat or blazer style, preferably) and some kickass vintage clothes. Wish me luck.

Peace.
