Kicked while down...

Remember how I bitched about not having a schedule for the tournament yet and how the COC is being such a slacker? Well, *still* no schedule, even though the tournament starts tomorrow, but I just found out why. In addition to switching jobs, moving, and trying to herd a hundred teenagers together to work this bridge tournament, the COC has been in the hospital all weekend. D'oh. My bad. I'm not mad about the schedule anymore.

I don't want to know what happens in the next Harry Potter book! That is, until I read it myself, which will be as soon as it is available. I like the thrill of figuring things out for myself, so I know that while no one *knows* anything for sure, it seems a lot of hypothesizing is going on due to some recent news from JKR and it's all I can do to hide from this news. Sigh. I just don't want other people telling me their theories and such because I really do want to figure it all out for myself. Is that so much to ask? Why does this make the CNN front page? :( See, this is why I hate hype. (Though Harry Potter is that good. I'm glad I finally came around.)
